Travel the world high-tech research field of Robotics has experienced remarkable progress could for the last few years. One concern the author namely robot ATLAS made by Boston Dynamics. Boston Dynamics is an engineering and Robotics design company that most people knew him as a developer-type robot BigDog (big dog), a robot designed for the U.S. military with funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and DI-Guy (a software that is very suitable for the simulation of humans)[1]. In the Robotics project being developed by Boston Dynamics that there are nine (9) different types of robots that they make IE SPOTMINI, ATLAS, handles, SPOT, LS3, WILDCAT, BIGDOG, SANDFLEA, and REX[2]. Each of the robots were developed with technology and different functions.

Robot ATLAS Are Down The Stairs

The ATLAS is a robot Humanoid robot (the form resembles the body of menusia) the latest hi-tech developed by Boston Dynamics. Mounted on a robot control system ATLAS a highly sophisticated form of coordination of movement i.e. the arms, torso, and legs in order to achieve a stable balance and not easy to fall down on the floor like a smooth terrain and terrain rough as in sandy soil. ATLAS also designed for robots can return rose to stand upright when he knocked down fell to the floor. One of the capabilities of ATLAS is the robot can lift weights in the form of a box and put it on the shelf that have been provided. This ability is almost exactly the same with the ability possessed by humans.

The ATLAS on a robot mounted a night in the form of sensors and sensor LiDAR Streo Vision[2].  As is the case in humans that can feel heat, cold, incline, pain, etc. On any ATLAS robot designed to be able to feel some State environmental conditions so that it can operate outside the room. As for the second sensor used on the ATLAS is the first robot sensor mounted on legs and LiDAR body robot serves to balance the State of the robot while walking and standing. The second sensor Streo vision are mounted on the robot's head serves to avoid obstacles, assess the terrain (to understand the environment that will be bypassed robot), and help the robot to navigate (toward the target and can go home again to the place of origin[3]).

Then, the robot ATLAS is designed to be able to pass various obstacles and terrain environment. The robot should be able to stand again as it tumbles. Things like this should be paid to the degree of difficulty in drafting, design, and many require a simulation so that the robot can work in accordance with your wishes. Robot ATLAS is not the same thing with designing on a robot-robot toys, robot for a competition, or robot-robot other companies tend to be easier and doesn't require many complex data analysis. Robot ATLAS one of them designed for military purposes so that it can carry heavy loads and with mileage distances. By having 28 joints (28 degrees kebebsan) robot can more freely move in and do the task will be executed. But it won't be like in humans that are able to move easily and any human, dimedan has as many as 360 joints on the entire order[4].
